ReplyDeleteI just LOVE your tabby cat Kathy!! Ha Ha! It would never occur to a bird brain like me to put stripes on the cat! Doh!! Loving your card with that KERYUTE mouse on it. The new sets and interchangeable faces have given so many possibilities to the new little critters.
ReplyDeleteYou are amazing as an artist and a friend!
Love Viv xxx
OMGOSH! These are so stinkin' CUTE!! I love the way you colored that kitty and the look on his face with that pesty bee bothering him. When I saw that face I thought Halloween and have started a card that I haven't quite finished. Your mouse is so adorable too. I love it when you get to hop with us because it is wonderful to see your amazing talent in action! Love you, Janice
ReplyDeleteYou are amazingly talented! I love all the stamps!
ReplyDeleteMy dad has a twinkle in his deep blue eyes that warms my heart! My dad is the greatest dad/friend a person could ever have!!
Okay i deleted my first comment because I didn't tell you what I love about my dad...
ReplyDeleteHe worries too much. When I was a teenager, I hated it. Now that I'm a mom, I know that he only did that because he wasn't very good at showing how much he cares, so he does it by worrying and fretting.
I love the new stamps and your cards. So adorable!
You are such an amazing artist!! I love PK so much and I am so happy that you started making these irresistible stamps!
ReplyDeleteMy sweet daddy passed away in 2008 but I love that he was always there for us kids when we needed him. We may not have been perfect but he loved us anyway!

AMAZING project and SUPER new stamp sets!Great job with the colors. :)
ReplyDeleteKathy, these stamps are great as all your stamps are, but knowing what inspired them was on my mind the entire way thru the hop. I'm a Daddy's girl too, so pretty much everything about him is a favorite thing. My dad was just diagnosed with melanoma 2 days ago, so our roller coaster has just taken off. I know you've got lots of people thinking of you in blogland and I hope you've got plenty around you that can smother you with hugs or be there for you if you just need to "blow".
ReplyDeleteOMG Kathy you did such an amazing job with the stamps! You are one talented woman! Love them all!
ReplyDeleteI love my Dad and especially that he is always there for me even with him living on the other side of the Atlantic!
Hugs,
Iris

This hop was too fun! All of your designer really had some awesome projects and yours was the cherry on top! Thanks for inviting me!
ReplyDeleteThis hop was wonderful...how am I going to decide which ones to buy?
ReplyDeleteMy dad is 92 years old and still going strong. I am the middle child of 14 children, there are 7 older than me and 6 younger than me. When I was little for some reason I was sick a lot and had to be hospitalized, my dad would come on his lunch hour and feed me tangerines. He remembers all of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and their spouses birthdays and sends them all a birthday card and he buys us all Christmas presents, although in the past few years he has started giving the adults & teenagers gift cards, he still gives the children toys! As I write this I have started to cry, so I am going to stop. I love my dad very, very much!

Omgosh I enjoyed this hop! All of the talent and inspiration, and the adorable stamp sets!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for so much fun and the chance to win!!
What I love most about my Dad is that he is such a genuine down to earth kinda guy who loves his kids very much. My dad was never one to show his feelings very easy. We always knew he loved us, and he was a very good Dad and did all the dad things with us and for us. But the emotions were tough for him to show. So it is very endearing, that after losing Mom to lung cancer 24 years ago, Dad has stepped into her shoes. It's just very cute and sweet to see him try so hard. I love my Dad, I think he's the best. :)

My dad passed away at the young age of 49. He died on Jan 5th 1994 from cancer and it literally feels like it was yesterday. I miss him so much and there is not one single day that goes by that I do not think about him. I have so many memories about my dad but probably my most favorite was when I was 7 years old and he took me to the African Safari. He put me on his lap while driving the car and he let me steer the car out of the gate. I was SO excited and felt like a big girl. He was always cracking jokes and being super funny. I would do anything to have him back with me. They say that time makes things easier but I find that not to be true for me. I find myself grasping to hear his voice, his smell, his laughter. I love him so much. Anyhow, thank you for the chance to win. I LOVE all of your stamps. You inspire me so much Kathy.. you inspire more people then you will ever know. Thank you for all that you do. Terri M of Two Pink Peas www.twopinkpeas.blogspot.com Terrico3 at ameritech dot net
ReplyDeleteI had to post one more favorite memory of my dad that I just thought of. When I was little he used to work for Firestone Tire Company. My mom would drive us to his work at night to see him on his lunch break. When he would come out each time he would bring me a special prize. My favorite prize was little bubble gum balls and a little chocolate milk (the kind you get at schools). He was so kind and generous. I miss him dearly. Thanks for letting me share my memories of my daddy. Terri M of Two Pink Peas Terrico3 at ameritech dot net www.twopinkpeas.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteMy mom and dad didn't get along well, So my dad was never around much. The year before he died he really suprised me. Right before my 11th birthday something got into my bunny cage. My 3 yr old white bunny was missing. Our back yard was covered in white fur but no blood. (thank god) After my party my dad showed up at our house in a black leather jacket. He tried to talk to me but we were both nervous and not talkative. Anyways on his way out the door he said oh I forgot and pulled out a baby black bunny from his jacket pocket! That is the last time I saw him before his death and it is one of the memories I will always treasure.

ReplyDeleteMy father really wasn't around much, but I have so many amazing and wonderful memories of my Grandfather. He was a kind and patient man who would spend hours teaching me how to garden, make jelly, bake etc......I
LOVE the new stamps Kathy! The sampler faces work out so perfectly and are super duper cute! U r amazing! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my! Love, love, love the cards. I love the tiger-striped kitty, he looks so annoyed by that silly bee!
ReplyDeleteMy dad passed away some time ago, but I remember that he had a joyful sense of humor, he had a strong work ethic, and he always took care of his family. He was an amazing man, and I still miss him. Thank you for allowing me to pay tribute to my father.

How cute are these!!!! I just love what you did...and I love the interchangeable faces!!! All these sets are super adorable and I had a great time seeing what your DT did with all their cuteness!!! Thanks for a great hop!
ReplyDeleteMy dad is a good man. The thing I love most about him is that he loves to sit down and reminisce about the good ole days and tells me things about myself as a young girl that I've never known. He remembers the smiles and the tears and he gets very emotional. He's in his 70's now and his health is not that great...and I'm blessed to still have him in my life and in my families life. He still has a great attitude and a wicked sense of humor...and an eye for the ladies!
Thanks Kathy!
hugs,
joni
These stamps are all so amazing!! You have done such a GREAT job with them!
ReplyDeletemy dad is a workaholic and not around much so growing up we had what we needed but at the cost of him working his tail off. Not the fondest memory but one I know made me who I am today.

I love your designs and especially love your color combinations. The striped card is beautiful . . . love the way the inside is decorated. As for my dad . . . so many things I love about him, but especially love how patient he has been our whole lives in dealing with a difficult personality (my mom). At 73, he has dealt with a severely handicapped child, has battled alcoholism, and the death of two of his children in the last two years. He has always been a voice of reason for me and is definitely someone I would say is my hero.
ReplyDeleteG*R*E*A*T blog hop!!! Everyone did a great job with their projects! I feel inspired to try a LOT of the projects and ideas!! THANKS :)

This is an emotional one for me.
ReplyDeleteWhat I love about my Dad,
He always provided for his family,
His strength and sense of humor,
How easily I could make him blush,
How much he loved his grandchildren and wished he could be here longer for them. When he found out he had cancer, that was his biggest regret, that he wouldn't be here for his grandkids. What an AMAZING DAD AND AMAZING MAN, Daddy I love you. Oh yes and the fact that when he was passing away I asked him to show us he was watching over us by an occasional heart cloud. And I see them when they are there. <3 Great creations on your blog love the stamps.
Love this release! Your DT team has done you proud all the projects were great. As for my Dad, he's the greatest. He's always there for me and he can fix or build anything!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance at some very generous goodies.

ReplyDeleteKathy, your designs are truly amazing and beautiful. My dad has been gone since 1987, and I've now reached the point in my life where I've spent more time without him, than with him. My favorite thing about him was the fact that he gave me room to make mistakes. It gets easier with time. Many hugs.

Oh Kathy what an amazing release. The little mice, skunk and kitties are just adorable. I know that PK stamps add so much life and cuteness to my projects. You are a very talented lady. I know it has been a rough year for you! I am always thinking of you and you and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers. I hope that all the wonderful memories of you dad can bring you a comfort, and when you are feeling sad turn it into a smile. My dad is my rock! He worked so hard all his life to provide for me, my sister, and my mom. At times, when I felt the entire world was caving in around me, my dad was the person that I could always count on. Peace and love to you Kathy!
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable. These sets are off the charts cute!
ReplyDeleteMy Dad is my hero! He will be 90 years old this month. He is a WWII prisoner of war veteran. A super Dad! He will never boast and is a very humble person! He is the rock of our family and the man I will always look up to. A true example of what a father should be. A true hero, not only to this country but to are whole family!

This is so cute. TFS. My favorite thing about my Dad is that he can talk like Donald Duck and on my wedding day 35yrs ago I was so nervous and starting to tear up and he started to talk in his duck voice and it brought a smile to my face and it lighted the mood as it always does and now he's been able to use it with my granddaughters and so it begins with a new generation. Take care and God Bless you
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about my dad was his sense of humor. He loved to pick at my mom, because he knew he could get a reaction from her. And he had this amazing chuckle, I never knew him to laugh outright, but that chuckle could always make me smile. He's been gone since 1970, but I sill think of him almost every day!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the lovely stamp sets. I love the Hillbilly's!

Kathy, this blog hop has been so much fun. I love your cat with it's stripes and the face is wonderful. I love it. My dad loved to travel and fish. His dream was to buy a resort in Wisconsin. We spent a lot of time there. He never did get to fulfil his dream. I still love to travel, but prefer warmer weather.
